Lighthouse

Lighthouse is a youth group for ages 0-15, the groups are split into 3 different age groups as shown below.

Bubbles is a Sunday morning group for ages 0-4. The children have lots of fun playing games, colouring and learning about the bible.Bubbles is the name for our pre-school group on a Sunday morning. We welcome anyone who is too young to go to school, right from babies up-anyone who wants to join us.

Parents are welcome to stay in our group but it is our aim to let parents enjoy the main service and hear the adult teaching. Alternatively parents are always welcome to keep their child in the main service with them.

For children already in school, from Reception to, and including Year 2. This class, along with the next (Xstream) use a variety of teaching materials, including a DVD story, activities, drama, work sheets, colouring model making and many other activities.

Their Bible Time, linked with games, crafts, songs is currently looking at Old Testament Characters, and will continue onto Miracles and Parables from the New Testament, largely based on the "On the Way" materials.

Xstream is for children in Junior school, Years 3 - 5 inclusive. Again, using the above teaching materials, the children will follow a short series of stories or themes and will enjoy related activities including crafts, quizzes, games, songs etc. There is a small team of volunteer teachers, so that faces quickly become familiar.
